SWBA Finance Report

Hello SWBA:

Praying HandsChurch and Staff Prayer Focus

From Your D.O.M…..

It has been a colder than I’ve experienced.  Brrrrr!!

In the fall, noondays averaged 53 persons.  There were 4 Bible Studies.  The largest averaged 12 and the smallest 3.  We’ve had a BCM Council of 10 members.  There was 1 salvation and 31 or more life changes made for Christ.  Our largest on campus evangelism meeting had 175 students and faculty. Praise God!!!

I just returned with 5 BCM students from a conference in Norman called Life Impact 2010.

About 700 students and leaders from the Midwest came to be challenged in evangelism and missions. It was effective.  My hope is to implement some new discipleship and outreach at WOSC.  I’ve just met with President Cumby about teaching character, values and leadership material by Tim Elmore.  Please be in prayer about this because the material is very expensive.

We begin a new semester on January 13th.  Emmanuel Baptist will serve our first noonday on January 20th.

Everyone seems excited and ready to go but there is plenty of preparation to do.

That is all for now,

Randy T.

The “holiday” season is over and the calendar is a reminder that a new year has begun.  Over the holidays I did some reflecting and walking down memory lane.  It was a great reminder of God’s faithfulness, goodness, and grace.  Every day and year of life is a gift of God and we need to thank Him and praise Him for them.

The year before us is full of uncertainties.  We’re facing a lot of fearful things in our nation and world.  In the midst of it all, God’s Word reminds us:  “Rejoice in the Lord always.  Again I say, rejoice!  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:4, 6-7).

Living for and serving Jesus is the best way to live (I’m absolutely certain about that). As we go forward in the New Year, may we make each day a “Jesus Day” and share His love and message with the people around us!
